Online Learning And Training (OLAT) started development at the University of Zurich in 1999. It is a free open-source Learning Management System. It was created with public institutions such as universities in mind but can also be deployed in other businesses.
OLAT allows for: users and groups, instant messaging, authentication options, course management, wiki, blog, podcasts and other typical e-learing platform features.
